As the No. 3 seed in the GPAC, the Bulldogs will take part in the Morningside Bracket of the GPAC tournament. Action will begin Wednesday morning from Sioux City, Iowa.
The regular season came to a close on Sunday (May 2) as the Bulldogs twice defeated Dakota Wesleyan in run-rule affairs. Concordia has locked up the No. 3 seed in the GPAC tournament.
The combination of Hhana Haro and Camry Moore fueled the Concordia Softball team to wins by scores of 5-2 and 7-6 at Dordt as part of the final weekend of the regular season.
Zoe Flores pitched a gem in relief in helping the Bulldogs to a game 2 win at College of Saint Mary on Tuesday (April 27). Concordia (25-9, 11-7 GPAC) split the twin bill.
With six games left in the regular season, the Bulldogs hope to climb the GPAC standings while playing three doubleheaders on the road. Concordia is 10-6 in conference play.
On the final home date of the regular season, the Bulldogs split a doubleheader with Briar Cliff. Camry Moore was terrific in the circle and Brena Brown belted her first career homer.
The work of Camry Moore and Jerzi Rowe in the circle helped make for a victorious senior day on Saturday (April 24). The Bulldogs celebrated their seniors with two wins over Mount Marty.
The doubleheader in North Dakota on Wednesday (April 21) featured a battle of aces and two low scoring games. Concordia dropped the first game, 3-1, before responding with a 4-2 win.
Three doubleheaders will make up a revised schedule this week as the Bulldogs head to Jamestown before a weekend at home. The program will honor its seniors on Saturday.
Scheduled road doubleheaders this weekend at Dakota Wesleyan and Jamestown have both been postponed. A makeup at Jamestown has been set for April 21.
