Concordia edged at No. 10 Bellevue

Concordia again showed how close it is to turning a corner while dropping a 2-1 decision at 10th-ranked Bellevue on Wednesday (Sept. 15). David Moreno notched the lone goal for the Bulldogs (2-3-1).

  • After a weekend off, Concordia will return to action with a road trip to No. 8 Bellevue and a home matchup with Mount Marty. The Bulldogs hope to get back into the win column following last week's defeat.

  • Despite having the statistical advantage, the Bulldogs came up short on the scoreboard in a 2-1 loss to Benedictine on Wednesday (Sept. 8). Jarrod Henson notched the first goal of his collegiate career.

  • Less than six months will separate matchups between Concordia and Benedictine. The Bulldogs will host the Ravens on Wednesday while looking to avenge a 2-0 defeat from the spring.

  • Concordia felt like it let one get away on Saturday (Sept. 4) in Salina, Kan., as it settled for a 1-1 draw at Kanas Wesleyan. The Bulldogs gave up the equalizer in the 87th minute.

  • In the first meeting between the Concordia and Grand View programs since 2012, the Bulldogs stumbled for the first time this season, albeit in a strong effort. The Vikings won, 2-0, on Wednesday (Sept. 1).

  • After winning twice at home in the opening week of the season, the Bulldogs will take their act on the road for matchups with Grand View (Sept. 1) and Kansas Wesleyan (Sept. 4).
