Led by Jake Richmond, the Bulldogs finished day one at the 2025 GPAC Championships tied for ninth place in the conference. Richmond shot four over par over Monday (April 21)'s two rounds.
The 2025 GPAC Men's Golf Championships will be staged at Beatrice Country Club on April 21-22. The Bulldogs will be looking to improve upon their ninth-place finish from 2024.
In the final outing prior to the conference tournament, Jake Hagerbaumer and Jake Richmond placed in the top 10 at the Raider Invite. As a team, the Bulldogs placed sixth out of 10 groupings.
In the 2025 installment of the Bulldog-Tiger Cup, Concordia Men's Golf hoped to repeat as the cup champion. However, Doane dominated in singles and won this year's clash, 10-5.
A strong spring for Jake Richmond has been reflected in him earning GPAC Golfer of the Week awards in a span of three weeks. Richmond placed sixth at the Bethel Invite.
Junior Jake Richmond recorded a second-straight top-10 tournament placement while leading the Bulldogs at the Bethel Spring Invite. Concordia finished sixth out of 11 teams in the field.
Sixty-five golfers were forced to grind through day one of the Bethel Spring Invitational held in Hesston, Kansas, where Concordia stands in sixth place. Jake Richmond shot a 75 in round one of the tournament.
A match that came down to the wire went the other way as the Bulldogs wrapped up the Briar Cliff Match Play Tournament with a 3-2 loss to Briar Cliff. Concordia wound up in sixth place.
In a unique match play event hosted by Briar Cliff, the Bulldogs bounced back from a loss to Dordt and defeated Mount Marty on Thursday (March 27). Concordia is aiming to claim fifth place on Friday.
The best tournament placement of Jake Richmond's collegiate career led to recognition on Wednesday (March 26). The junior from Elkhorn, Neb., was named the GPAC Golfer of the Week.
