Named GPAC Defensive Player of the Week earlier in the day, senior defensive lineman was upgraded to NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week later on Sept. 15.

Stars in the win over Dakota Wesleyan, senior defensive lineman Carson Fehlhafer and junior wide receiver Jonny Puelz have been honored as GPAC Players of the Week.

Jonny Puelz burst onto the scene with three receiving touchdowns and Carson Fehlhafer dominated on the defensive end. Their efforts along with two Peyton Atwood field goals helped Concordia survive a score from DWU, 27-22.

For the second straight Saturday, Bulldog Stadium will serve as the host venue of GPAC football after dark. Concordia and Dakota Wesleyan are set to meet up for the 26th all-time series matchup.

Junior Terry Sebek collected three sacks in Concordia's 35-7 win over Doane and was named GPAC Defensive Player of the Week. Sebek has stepped into a starting role on the defensive line in 2025.
