Thanks to a record-breaking kick, junior Peyton Atwood has been named GPAC Special Teams Player of the Week. Atwood made all of his kicks in the 54-0 win at Waldorf.
Gideon Stark fired three touchdown passes, Calvin Sassaman rushed for two scores and the defense shut Waldorf out in a 54-0 stomping in Forest City, Iowa. The Bulldogs have won eight games in a row.
An early bye week leads the Concordia Football team into its first ever road trip to Forest City, Iowa. The Bulldogs will carry a seven-game win streak into action with a Waldorf team seeking its first victory.

Named GPAC Defensive Player of the Week earlier in the day, senior defensive lineman was upgraded to NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week later on Sept. 15.
Stars in the win over Dakota Wesleyan, senior defensive lineman Carson Fehlhafer and junior wide receiver Jonny Puelz have been honored as GPAC Players of the Week.
Jonny Puelz burst onto the scene with three receiving touchdowns and Carson Fehlhafer dominated on the defensive end. Their efforts along with two Peyton Atwood field goals helped Concordia survive a score from DWU, 27-22.
For the second straight Saturday, Bulldog Stadium will serve as the host venue of GPAC football after dark. Concordia and Dakota Wesleyan are set to meet up for the 26th all-time series matchup.
Junior Terry Sebek collected three sacks in Concordia's 35-7 win over Doane and was named GPAC Defensive Player of the Week. Sebek has stepped into a starting role on the defensive line in 2025.
Adam Van Cleave provided the highlights in the passing game and the Bulldog defense flustered Doane with eight sacks and four turnovers forced. It added up to a 35-7 Concordia win on Saturday (Sept. 6).
