Also an honorable mention All-GPAC choice and on track to be named an NAIA Scholar-Athlete, Zac Walter picked up Acadmic All-District accolades from CoSDIA on Thursday (Nov. 15).

Just a sophomore, Lane Napier has raked in first team All-GPAC honors for the second year in a row. Meanwhile, junior Ryan Durdon and senior Kordell Glause landed on the second team, as announced on Tuesday (Nov. 13).

A second half rally came up short for the Concordia football team in its season finale at Doane on Saturday (Nov. 10). Ryan Durdon amassed 234 all-purpose yards in the 21-16 loss in Crete.

On and off the field, senior Vince Beasley has represented the Bulldogs in such a manner that he's consistently earned high praise from his head coach. With one game left in his career, Beasley reflects on life as a Bulldog.

The 2018 Bulldog football season will come to a close on Saturday when it meets up with Doane at Al Papik Field. Concordia is looking to make it two wins in a row over the Tigers after taking last year's matchup.

It took a while, but the Concordia offense finally figured out how to put the ball in the end zone in the fourth quarter. Despite a program record 455 yards passing from Andrew Perea, the Bulldogs fell 42-28 to No. 6 Northwestern.

The Bulldogs found out why Morningside is ranked No. 1 nationally in Saturday (Oct. 27)'s contest in Sioux City, Iowa. The Mustangs won 49-0. In the defeat, linebacker Lane Napier collected 22 tackles.
 
 As part of homecoming week on the Concordia campus, we feature the 1931 Concordia Football team that went 7-0 and dominated its opponents under the direction of Head Coach Walter Hellwege.

 At just 12 years old, Cleve Wester aspired to play in the NFL and live a life of service caring for underprivileged children and families. With the help of four years at Concordia, Wester accomplished his goals.
 
 Southwest of Seward, Blake Schlegel grew up on a farm. He didn't know it then, but he was everything Patrick Daberkow and his staff were looking for. Down to Earth. Blue collar. Hard-working. And a fun personality.
 
 After saying goodbye to a successful senior class, the Bulldogs began to answer questions this spring about what the 2025 team will look like. There will be a new QB and a host of new starters up front for Coach Daberkow's squad.
 
 For Head Coach Patrick Daberkow and 15 Concordia Football student-athletes, spring break was more about service than fun. The Bulldogs spent it rebuilding an LCMS camp devasted by Hurricane Helene.
