Prepped at Mullen High School … coached by Janie Kuncl and Jennifer Moore … lettered all four years … served as a team captain for three years … garnered cross country all-state honors twice and was a three-time conference champion … turned in cross country state place finishes of eighth and second, respectively … in track, won a state title in the 3,200 meter run and in previous years was a state runner up and eighth-place finisher in the same event … also recorded state track place finishes of fourth and second in the 1,600 meters, respectively … helped the Broncos to a cross country conference title and a track state runner up finish … played basketball for four years and scored more than 1,000 career points … owns basketball school records in a single game for points scored (39) and 3-point field goals (10) … garnered three honorable mention all-state awards in basketball and was named all-conference three times … collected academic all-state awards in three sports.
