Made 11 appearances with three starts on the mound ... posted a 7.11 ERA with 18 strikeouts in 12.2 innings ... allowed 14 runs (10 earned) on 11 hits and 24 walks ... opposing batters hit .220 ... longest outing covered three innings with one run allowed and six strikeouts in a win over Valley City State on March 10.

Attended Spoon River College for two years and graduated with associates degree … threw 92 innings and broke the school record with 125 strikeouts while tying a school standard with nine wins as a sophomore.

Prepped at Geneseo High School … coached by Joe Nichols … lettered and started for two years at the varsity level … named second team all-conference, team MVP and team pitcher of the year … played three years of football and one year of golf … selected to President’s List three times.
