Earned regular playing time as a freshman, appearing in 44 games with 33 starts ... batted .245 (24-for-98) with 22 runs scored, four doubles, one home run and 21 RBIs to go along with a .403 on-base percentage and .316 slugging percentage ... homered for the first time in his career in a win over Valley City State on March 10 ... went 3-for-5 in a win over Dakota Wesleyan on April 25 ... converted 40 chances without committing an error in the outfield.

Prepped at Lincoln Pius X High School … coached by Troy Charf for three years and Keith Henggler for one year … lettered and started all three years at the varsity level … helped the Thunderbolts to two district finals games … also played two years of basketball … earned academic all-conference honors and was a Nebraska Prospects JetFuel Scholarship winner … achieved honor roll status.
