2020: Junior
Took over the closer role and made six appearances, covering 6.2 innings ... notched five saves ... allowed just one earned run on four hits and no walks while striking out 11 ... longest outing was two innings at McPherson on Feb. 8.

2019: Sophomore
Became a dominant reliever who made 11 appearances out of the bullpen ... logged 25.1 innings and posted a 0.36 ERA ... allowed 10 hits (.125 opponent batting average) and six walks to go against 26 strikeouts ... had a record of 4-0 ... longest outing was a four-inning, no-run appearance versus Morningside.

2018: Freshman
Saw action in two games as a pitcher during his debut Bulldog season ... pitched 3.1 innings and held a 5.40 ERA ... opposing batters held a .412 batting average against him. 

High School
Prepped at Gretna High School for head coach Jake Wolf … lettered for three years and started for two … named Academic All-State, All-State Honorable Mention and All-Conference Honorable Mention … also played basketball for four years where his team was the two-time state champs … class valedictorian, member of the honor roll and received four academic letters.

Born in Omaha, Neb., on Sept. 1, 1998 … son of John and Patty Samuelson … has an older sister Payton and an older brother Cole.
