2023 Concordia Baseball Schedule (PDF)
SEWARD, Neb. – As of early December, the 2023 schedule is roughly two months away for Concordia University Baseball. The program has announced a ’23 slate that features 50 regular season games, including 22 outside of league play. The defending GPAC tournament champions are readying to open the season on Feb. 11 as part of a weekend event hosted by Oklahoma City University. Once again, the GPAC grind included 14 conference doubleheaders.
Head Coach Ryan Dupic has built a program that consistently harbors high expectations. Over eight seasons leading the Bulldogs, Dupic has compiled an overall record of 242-145-1 and has guided his squads to a combined five GPAC championships (three regular season and two tournaments) and to four national tournament appearances (with an NAIA World Series berth in 2021). Concordia will enter 2023 having posted back-to-back 40-win seasons. The Bulldogs were ranked 19th in the 2023 NAIA coaches’ poll released in November.
The ’23 campaign will get started with top notch competition right away. Concordia will take on No. 11 Oklahoma City in the opener while also playing fifth-ranked Bellevue University on that same day (Feb. 11). Perhaps the most challenging schedule a Bulldog Baseball team has ever faced will also feature a three-game series at No. 25 Keiser University (Fla.) during the team’s spring break trip. That journey in Florida will continue with eight games in the city of Lake Wales, which is home to the Warner University Invitational (March 9-11). Several opponents are still be determined for both Feb. 18-19 and March 6-7.
The GPAC schedule will get going with a rematch of the 2022 GPAC tournament championship game as Jamestown visits Seward on March 18 for a doubleheader. That will also mark Concordia’s first home appearance of the season. Among other highlights, the Bulldogs will be at defending GPAC regular season champion Doane for a twin bill on April 15. Dates for GPAC tournament pod play are May 4-6 with the championship game set to be played on May 9.
The NAIA National Championship Opening Round will be held May 15-18 at campus sites to be announced later by the NAIA. Once again, the NAIA World Series will be staged at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. The dates for the 2023 World Series are May 26 – June 2.

That list includes first team honorees in second baseman Jay Adams, outfielder Joey Grabanski and third baseman Jaidan Quinn and right-handed pitchers Alex Johnson and Caden Johnson.
