Back-to-back 40-win seasons that included deep postseason excursions lead Concordia Baseball into a 2023 season with understandably lofty expectations. The Bulldogs return 11 of their 12 All-GPAC honorees from 2022.
For the Karsten family, the Concordia Invitational Tournament has spanned three generations. Understandably, the buzz is building as the 70th CIT approaches. Kyle Karsten will return to a CIT at Nebraska for the first time since he played for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs are ready to return to the mat after making big gains in 2022 as a program. Leaders such as Brenden Ingram and Shelby Timmerman are back with eyes on making a push for a spot at the 2023 NAIA National Championships.
A year after placing seventh at the GPAC Championships/NAIA Qualifier event, the Bulldogs have high hopes for 2023. They return six of eight athletes from the qualifying roster and bring in a class of talented freshmen.
