Seth Crane commits to Concordia wrestling

The Concordia University wrestling program is thrilled to announce the signing of Seth Crane of North Platte, Nebraska.  Crane was a four-time state qualifier at Maxwell High School.  Crane posted season marks of 29-3 as a freshman (112 pounds), 31-9 as a sophomore (140 pounds), 35-6 as a junior (152 pounds), and 43-2 as a senior (171 pounds) for a career prep mark of 138-20.

As a senior, Crane placed 3rd in the 2011 Nebraska state wrestling championships.  Crane is also a member of the 2011 Nebraska Academic All-State Wrestling team.  He plans on majoring in Civil Engineering at Concordia University.

“Seth is a welcome addition to our team,” noted head coach Doug Reese.  “Seth knows what it takes to win.  He had a winning percentage of .873 in his high school career.  What he has achieved in his prep career on the mat is outstanding.  We believe that Seth can continue that success here at Concordia.”

Crane is expected to wrestle at 174 pounds for the Bulldogs next season.
