2025-26 Concordia Wrestling Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – The slate for the 2025-26 Concordia University, Nebraska Wrestling season has been unveiled. In year two of his tenure, Head Coach Josh Watts will take his Bulldogs into action for a total of seven regular season opens/tournaments and nine duals. The upcoming season is scheduled to get underway with the Falcon Open hosted by Friends University on Nov. 1.
This past 2024-25 season, Watts guided the Bulldogs to place finishes of second (tie) in the GPAC regular season, third at the GPAC Championships and 17th at the NAIA National Championships. Concordia sent eight competitors to the national tournament with Hagen Heistand (149-pound runner up) and Creighton Baughman (eighth place at 141) emerging as 2025 NAIA All-Americans. Heistand will return next season to headline the lineup.
The 2025-26 dual schedule is set to open on Nov. 13 when Hastings will make a visit to Friedrich Arena. The Bulldogs will also take part in GPAC Day of Duals No. 1 at Morningside (Nov. 25) and GPAC Day of Duals No. 2 at Doane (Feb. 7). In a second semester home appearance, Concordia will welcome Midland and Friends University (Kan.) to Seward for a triangular on Jan. 8.

Concordia made a splash at last season’s Missouri Valley Invite as it placed sixth out of 53 NAIA programs.
The 2026 GPAC Wrestling Championships will be staged at Northwestern in Orange City, Iowa, Feb. 20-21. Once again, the NAIA Wrestling National Championships will take place in Park City, Kan. Next year’s national tournament is slated for March 5-7.
