Eacker signs with Concordia Wrestling

The Concordia University wrestling program is pleased to announce that Cale Eacker of Sumner-Eddyville-Miller High School in Sumner, Nebraska, has signed a letter of intent to wrestle with the Bulldogs.

Eacker had a 26-6 senior season, with an overall prep record of 82-48.  Eacker has won a conference title in the Ft. Kearney Conference along with two conference runner-up finishes.  He has also claimed a District title.

Eacker is a three-time Nebraska State High School State Championship qualifier.  Eacker has a 3.79 grade point average and plans on majoring in History and Secondary Education.

"We are very excited to have Cale join us," commented head wrestling coach Doug Reese.  "Cale is a hungry wrestler.  He has some unfinished business on the mat to attend to.  He is a great student, and he had a strong desire to attend Concordia and wrestle.  That is a combination that we search for.  He will be a great addition to our Bulldog family of wrestlers."
