The matchup
The Bulldogs, 5-3 in the GPAC, defeated the Broncos, 5-4 this season. All three Concordia doubles teams won while Annie Horn and Kayla Smock won their singles matches. In the past five years, Concordia holds a 3-2 advantage over Hastings.

New beginnings
With a young roster made up entirely of freshmen and sophomores, head coach Joel Reckewey has improved his team over the season. The Bulldogs suffered defeats in their first five matches of the season. To wrap up the year, the ‘Dogs won four of their last five tilts. Many of the losses came from more experienced teams. The team looks to take those tough defeats and turn them around into victories in the post-season tournament and as they grow and improve over the coming years.
