SEWARD, Neb. – Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Tennis is receiving votes in the NAIA coaches’ preseason poll released on Wednesday (Nov. 5). The Bulldogs finished last season with a 17-5 overall record and were the GPAC tournament champions for the first time in the program’s history. Defeating Morningside in the playoff final, CUNE made nationals and has returned all six singles starters and five doubles starters from the potent lineup a year ago.
The list of All-GPAC returners is Chakira Derman, Ishane Derman, Mariana Molano and Alexa Richert.
Concordia will open the spring with another team receiving votes (31) in McPherson College (Kan.) at the Ernest Grundy Tennis Center in Kearney, Neb.
