
SEWARD, Neb. – Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Soccer, under new Head Coach Jason Weides, has unveiled its 2026 schedule, launching the start under familiar yet different leadership. The 16-game slate opens on the road against the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma on Aug. 20, kicking off a challenging non-conference stretch. After missing the national tournament in the 2025 season with a 13-2-5 record, the Bulldogs will look to return to the final dance in their 2026 campaign.
The team will play eight away games, starting with early tests against national tournament qualifiers USAO, ranked No. 20 in the 2025 NAIA Coaches’ Postseason Poll, and Mid-America Christian University (Okla.), receiving votes. On Sept. 2, Concordia will host Bellevue University for its home opener. The non-conference schedule wraps up with Kansas Wesleyan University (Sept. 9) and Dakota State University. Senior Day is set for Sept. 12 against the Trojans.
GPAC play begins Sept. 19 at Dordt. Key conference matchups include 2025 GPAC regular season champion Morningside (Sept. 26), GPAC tournament champion Hastings (Oct. 14) and Midland (Oct. 28) to close the scheduled slate.
After finishing second in the GPAC with a 7-1- 3 record in 2025, Concordia returns four of 11 starters, including All-GPAC selections Kyana Rios, Triniti Rowe, Guadalupe Sanchez and Sadie Mares. The Bulldogs will miss a massive graduating class, including Kierstynn Garner, Niah Kirchner, Elena Ruiz, Taylor Slaymaker, Savannah Andrews, Hannah Kile, Shelby Rugg, and Sierra Springer.
