SEWARD, Neb. – The Concordia women’s soccer match vs Dordt has been tabbed as the NAIA Match of the Week. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 3 at Bulldog Stadium. The Bulldogs are currently 6-2-1 this season with a 0-1-1 mark in GPAC play. The Defenders enter the game with a record of 6-3 (1-1 GPAC).
Since 2003, Concordia and Dordt have met 13 times with Dordt holding the advantage, 7-5-1. The Bulldogs have won three of the last four meetings. In the most recent meeting in 2014, the Bulldogs and Defenders tied 0-0.
The Bulldog squad dropped their unbeaten streak against GPAC opponents after the match at Hastings. CUNE had gone 9-0-5 against GPAC foes in the last fourteen games. After losing two of its first three games, the Dordt College team won six of its last seven matches.
