
SEWARD, Neb. – Kierstynn Garner was announced as the first GPAC Offensive Player of the Week of 2025 by the league office on Tuesday (Sept. 2). Garner helped bolster the Bulldogs to two wins over Dakota State University (S.D.) , 4-1, and Nebraska Wesleyan University, 4-0 this past week. She was selected for the award for the 7th time in her career.
Concordia Women’s Soccer has gone unbeaten (3-0-1) through four games with its highest ranked win over No. 4 Columbia College (Mo.), 3-1. KG has three assists this campaign and the eventual game-winner versus the highly touted Cougars. The Senior forward unleashed three goals and an assist versus the Prairie Wolves, taking part in every goal of the shutout. Hailing from Keaney, Neb., Garner also added a tally against the Trojans totaling four scores in the two games.
The K-town Garner has totaled six goals in all four contests, scoring in every game early in the season. She has amassed 55 career goals after the following games and is third in scoring all-time for Concordia.
The Bulldogs are set to face Bellevue on Wednesday night (Sept. 3) at 5:30 p.m.
