
2025 CSC NAIA Women’s Soccer Academic All-Americans
SEWARD, Neb. – The honors keep coming for star striker Kierstynn Garner. On Wednesday (Dec. 17), College Sports Communicators (CSC) honored the Kearney, Neb., native as a 2025 First Team Academic All-American. Garner is the fifth student-athlete in Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Soccer history to earn this distinction, joining Lindsey Carley (2020), Maria Deeter (2018), Rachel Mussell (2014) and Grace Soenksen (2023).
The 2025 Academic All-America® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Student-athletes must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher in order to be nominated for this award. Nominees also had to meet specific requirements in terms of games played and games started during the 2025 season. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes soccer honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
Garner will go down as one of the most decorated players in women’s soccer program history. Throughout her career, Garner has earned four GPAC All-Conference awards with first team awards her sophomore through senior seasons. Garner owns the program record for career-game winning goals (23) while also sporting school all-time rankings of second in goals scored (68), second in points (167) and third in assists (31). As a senior in 2025, Garner produced 19 goals and 13 assists. She has also been honored this fall as an NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-District (CSC) selection. Garner is a Psychology major.

· Has led program to a combined four-year record of 50-19-11 with a national tournament appearance in 2024.
