
2025 GPAC Preseason Women’s Soccer Coaches’ Poll
SEWARD, Neb. - After finishing the last two regular seasons in the runner up slot, Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Soccer lands at No. 2 in the GPAC coaches’ poll as announced by the league office on Thursday (Aug. 14). The Bulldogs took 108 overall points and one first place vote, just behind the 2024 GPAC Champion Hastings.
Head Coach Nick Smith and company return seven of their eight All-GPAC players (including all three first-team honorees) and nine of 11 starters from a season ago. The 2024 team made history in the NAIA national tournament, clinching its first win in the nationwide playoff. The Bulldogs garnered second in the conference regular season and the GPAC tournament.
The women’s soccer squad has finished as runner-up in both campaigns under Smith but will look to seize its first GPAC regular season title since 2017. Concordia was selected preseason second in the poll last season and fifth before Smith’s first slate.
