Concordia University senior Mallorie Blanck (Manhattan, Kan.) picked up conference honors on Tuesday for her efforts in Concordia’s win over Sterling College over the weekend.
Blanck was named GPAC offensive player-of-the-week. She scored both goals in Concordia’s 2-0 win over Sterling College on Saturday. Blanck now has a team-best six goals on the season and has the game-winning goal in each of Concordia’s two wins so far this year. It’s the second straight offensive player-of-the-week award for Bulldog players, as senior Jamie Sanchez earned the award last week.
Concordia is now 2-4 on the year. The Bulldogs open GPAC play this weekend with a home game against Dordt College on September 24.
