2020 Women’s Golf Fall Schedule

SEWARD, Neb. – If all goes as planned, the Concordia University women’s golf program will return to the course in September. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Bulldogs have not appeared in an official meet since Sept. 30, 2019. Head Coach Brett Muller’s program has revealed a fall 2020 schedule featuring five tournaments covering nine calendar dates. The new campaign is set to begin Sept. 10-11 at the Mount Marty Invite.

Plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Kearney Invite on Aug. 31 were nixed by the GPAC and NAIA guidelines mandating no official competitions prior to Sept. 5. Concordia will not host a home meet this fall, however, it will stay in-state for the Matthew Goette Classic at River Wilds in Blair, Neb., Sept. 22.

The Matthew Goette Classic is sandwiched in-between the Mount Marty Invite, Lila Frommelt Classic (Sept. 18-19), the Buena Vista University Fall Invite (Sept. 25-26) and the GPAC Championships (Oct. 5-6). The fall portion of the conference championships will be staged at Dakota Dunes Country Club in Dakota Dunes, S.D.

The Bulldogs placed third (336-345–681) in the GPAC during the shortened 2019-20 season. Both sophomore Kendra Placke (sixth) and senior Murphy Sears (14th) placed inside the top 15 of the conference individually and earned All-GPAC honors. Sears was a four-time all-conference performer in her Concordia career.
