Custer selected to 2023-24 All-GPAC team

2024 GPAC Women’s Golf All-Conference Team

SEWARD, Neb. – Named the 2022-23 GPAC Newcomer of the Year, Concordia University Women’s Golf standout Emery Custer has earned recognition from the league office for the second-straight year. On Wednesday (May 8), the conference announced Custer as a 2023-24 GPAC All-Conference Second Team selection. The honorees are voted upon by league coaches.

A sophomore from Broken Bow, Neb., Custer paced the Bulldogs this season with an 18-hole scoring average of 86.0. The Broken Bow High School alum played in 10 events (19 rounds) in 2023-24 and placed inside the top 10 of four tournaments (two top-five claims). Among the season highlights, Custer placed fourth at the College of Saint Mary Invite, fifth at the Graceland Invitational, seventh at the Buena Vista Fall Invite and 10th at the Kaitlyn Erickson Invite. Custer went on to place 16th (86-86-83–255) at the 2024 GPAC Championships.

Over her first two seasons as a Bulldog, Custer owns a scoring average of 86.6 in 36 rounds. As a freshman, Custer placed a tie for 25th in the GPAC.
