
SEWARD, Neb. – A sterling fall season was capped on Tuesday with a top 10 placement at the Nebraska Intercollegiate for senior Emery Custer. On Wednesday (Oct. 8), Custer picked up another honor as the league office named her the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Women’s Golfer of the Week. Her second GPAC weekly award of the season comes courtesy of her performance at the York Fall Invite.
A Broken Bow, Neb., native, Custer made a push for a tournament title before placing second at the York Invite. She shot 82-81–163 (+23) for the tournament held at York Country Club. Custer helped lead Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Golf to a runner-up claim in a field of six teams. At this week’s Nebraska Intercollegiate, Custer placed in a tie for sixth while shooting 82-80–162 (+20). The Bulldogs finished third among seven in-state programs that competed in Fremont, Neb.
A Psychology and Business Administration major, Custer placed inside the top 10 of all five tournaments this fall with a championship coming at the Siouxland Invite. In her career, Custer has placed in the top 10 a total of 13 times. Her 2025-26 season average of 79.2 leads the team. Custer and the Concordia Women’s Golf team will resume action in the spring semester.
