MITCHELL, S.D. – On Monday afternoon, the Concordia women’s golf team wrapped up its spring season at the GPAC Qualifier No. 4, hosted by Dakota Wesleyan University. Junior Amy Ahlers claimed her third All-GPAC honor at the meet.

Concordia finished in sixth place as a team after shooting a 348 Monday. The score tied the squad’s lowest GPAC Qualifier round. The Bulldogs’ cumulative score over the four rounds is 354-348-379-348—1,429, just five strokes over last season’s fifth place finish.

Head coach Brett Muller said, “After nine holes the team was in great position to shoot a great team score. We didn’t finish our great start, and that is disappointing. The two nines at Wild Oak are completely different and we didn’t do a good enough job of adjusting. I am proud of Amy for finishing third in the GPAC for the year.”

Individually, Ahlers finished with a team best 84-82-81-79—326 to place third and receive All-GPAC honors for three straight years. Kayla Krueger finished in 12th place after shooting 83-87-88-84—342 over 72 holes. Ashlen Pospisil shot below her average to finish in 26th place with a 97-93-83-91—364 score.

Dakota Wesleyan took the conference title for the eighth-straight year. A full list of team results and placings is listed below.
