Concordia’s Katie Rich picked up another postseason honor this week, as she was a first team selection on the Omaha World Herald’s All-Nebraska NAIA women’s basketball team.
Rich (Tilden, Neb.) had an impressive sophomore season for the Bulldogs. She led the team in scoring (12.5 points per game) and rebounding (6.7 rebounds per game). She was named to the Concordia Invitational All-Tournament Team and was a second team All-GPAC selection. Rich also picked up honorable mention All-American honors.
Amber Kistler (Minatare, Neb.) and Kristen Conahan (Omaha, Neb.) were honorable mention selections by the Omaha World Herald. Kistler was an honorable mention All-GPAC selection this year and was second on the team with her 10.7 points per game. Conahan also picked up honorable mention All-GPAC honors this year in her freshman season. She was third on the team with 10.6 points per game.
