Olson honored for win 100

Drew Olson, Concordia's women's basketball coach, was recognized Jan. 19 for his 100th career coaching win. Olson hit the 100 mark in a win over Bethany College during Christmas Break. 

Olson took over as head coach of the Concordia women's basketball program in 2006 and has led the Bulldogs to three straight NAIA national tournament appearances. A native of Omaha, Neb., Olson was himself a basketball player for Bulldogs, helping Concordia make two NAIA national tournament appearances, win three Concordia Invitational Tournament titles and earn a Great Plains Athletic Conference tournament championship.

Olson’s coaching resume includes a stop at Bellevue University (Bellevue, Neb.) where he served as an assistant men’s basketball coach for three seasons.
