Concordia places three on NAIA Scholar-Athlete list

Concordia University placed three on the 2011 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete list.  Melissa Hansen, Katie Herther and Kristin Miller all earned the honor for the Bulldogs.  In order to be nominated, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.

Hansen (Scotia, Neb.) appeared in just one varsity game this year due to injury.  Herther (Sioux Falls, S.D.) played in 20 games, averaging 3.9 points and 2.5 rebounds.  Miller (Jefferson City, Mo.) played in 31 games with 29 starts during her senior season.  She averaged 9.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Bulldogs.

Concordia was 15-17 overall and 6-12 in the GPAC in 2010-11.
