Bulldogs selected sixth in GPAC preseason poll

SEWARD, Neb. – At the outset of Head Coach Drew Olson’s 20th season, the Bulldogs were placed at No. 6 in the 2025-26 GPAC Women’s Basketball Preseason Coaches’ Poll released on Thursday (Oct. 16). Concordia University, Nebraska Women’s Basketball totaled 73 points in the conference rating. The Bulldogs finished 14-15 overall and 9-13 in GPAC play last campaign.

The program welcomes back all-conference honorees Kristin Vieselmeyer and Raelyn Kelty. Vieselmeyer, out of Holyoke, Colo., was second team and Kelty, from Kiowa, Colo., was named honorable mention.

Under Coach Olson, the women’s basketball program has achieved incredible success including one national championship, two national runners up claim, five national tournament semifinal advancements, 16 national tournament berths and 12 combined GPAC championships. The Omaha, Neb., native Olson has enjoyed six seasons that have eclipsed the 30-win mark. Concordia looks to return to the final site of the national tournament after missing the playoff last season for the first time since the 2010-11 year.

The Bulldogs will start the new campaign inside Friedrich Arena on Oct. 25 versus Kansas Christian College. In the month of October, Concordia will also make a trip to Graceland University (Iowa). View the complete 2025-26 schedule HERE.
