Bulldogs move up in latest NAIA top 25

Concordia moved up two spots to seventh in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll released on Monday.  The Bulldogs are 8-1 overall and 3-1 in conference play so far this year.

A total of four schools from the GPAC are featured in the top 10.  Briar Cliff (9-1 on the year) remained second.  Morningside College (7-3 overall), who handed Concordia a 69-66 loss on Saturday, sits in a tie for fifth with Davenport (Mich.).  Concordia is seventh, with Hastings College right behind in eighth with an 8-1 season record.

Concordia suffered its first loss of the season on Saturday.  The Bulldogs rallied in the second half, but the visiting Mustangs used a late three point play to secure the 69-66 win.  Concordia now hosts #2 Briar Cliff on Wednesday evening with tip scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Walz Human Performance Complex.
