2025 Concordia Volleyball Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – The 2025 slate for the Concordia University, Nebraska Volleyball program has been unveiled. As of early May, the 2025 schedule features 24 regular season matches, including the usual 16 GPAC conference contests. Head Coach Ben Boldt’s squad is slated to open the new campaign on Aug. 16 with a visit from York University. The junior varsity schedule has also been announced.
The 2025 season will mark the eighth season in the tenures of Ben and Angie Boldt. This past season, the Bulldogs went 27-4 overall and reached the NAIA national quarterfinals. From that team, Concordia will return All-GPAC honorees in the form of Ashley Keck (first team), Ella Waters (first team), Addie Kirkegaard (second team) and Savannah Shelburne (honorable mention). Keck was also recognized with NAIA First Team All-America accolades.
The matchup with York in mid-August will get the season started prior to the opening of the 2025-26 academic year at Concordia. The Bulldogs will then play in weekend classics loaded with perennially powerful NAIA programs. Those events are the Power Quad (Aug. 21-22) hosted by reigning national champion Indiana Wesleyan University and the CSM/United Sports Academy Labor Day Classic (Aug. 29-30). As part of those two events, Concordia is scheduled to take on the following teams that completed 2024 nationally ranked: No. 1 Indiana Wesleyan, No. 6 Eastern Oregon University and No. 20 Viterbo University (Wis.). Another foe, Columbia College (Mo.), received votes in the ’24 postseason poll.
Conference action is scheduled to get started on Sept. 6 with a trip to Mount Marty. The weekend of homecoming (Oct. 10-11) will feature a home clash with defending GPAC champion Northwestern. In addition, rivalry matchups with Midland are set for Sept. 17 (home) and Nov. 1 (away). Dates for the GPAC tournament are Nov. 8 for the quarterfinals, Nov. 12 for the semifinals and Nov. 15 for the championship match.
The 2025 NAIA National Championships will kick off with the opening round on Nov. 22. For teams that advance past the opening round, their seasons will continue at the final site of the NAIA National Championship, the Tyson Events Center in Sioux City, Iowa, Dec. 3-9. Concordia has reached the final site in each of the past six seasons.
