
SEWARD, Neb. – The honors are a reflection of the fine senior season enjoyed by Concordia University, Nebraska Volleyball All-American Ashley Keck. On Tuesday (Nov. 11), the league office recognized Keck as the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Attacker of the Week. Keck has pulled in a player of the week award for the fourth time in 2025.
The Kearney, Neb., native Keck has helped lead the fourth-ranked Bulldogs back to the GPAC semifinals for the seventh straight year. Last week’s action included a straight sets win over Doane in the regular season finale and a sweep of Morningside in the GPAC quarterfinals. In the triumph over Doane, Keck produced 13 kills on 25 swings while adding four aces, 12 digs and a block. Three days later, Keck set a new career-high for a three-set match with 22 kills (.351) versus Morningside. She added nine digs as part of the dominant postseason victory.
On the season, Keck has totaled 356 kills (4.09 per set), 368 digs (4.23 per set), 31 blocks and 23 aces while hitting .235 from the outside. Her career tallies now stand at 1,335 kills, 1,141 digs and 107 blocks. Keck and her fellow senior classmates have won a combined 100 matches (against 16 losses) over their four years as Bulldogs. Keck is a Business Administration major who is also minoring in Marketing.
Concordia (23-2) will continue postseason action on Wednesday night when 19th-ranked Midland will visit Friedrich Arena in the GPAC semifinals. The winner will advance to play either Northwestern or Dakota Wesleyan in the conference championship match.
