2025 CSC Volleyball Academic All-Americans
SEWARD, Neb. – Another honor has come to Ashley Keck on the heels of one of the greatest individual seasons in Concordia University, Nebraska Volleyball history. On Tuesday (Jan. 13), Keck was named a 2025 First Team Academic All-American by College Sports Communicators. The Academic All-America honor roll within the NAIA includes 14 student-athletes. Keck is one of two GPAC players to receive the award and adds to the list of past Academic All-Americans from the volleyball program, including Bree Burtwistle (2023 and Camryn Opfer (2023).
The 2025 Academic All-America® Women’s Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. Student-athletes must achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher in order to be nominated for this award. Nominees also had to meet specific requirements in terms of games played and games started during the 2025 season. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA — for each gender.
A Kearney, Neb., native, Keck has stockpiled accolades over four years at Concordia. In addition to two NAIA First Team All-America awards, Keck is a four-time GPAC All-Conference award winner (first team twice, second team once and honorable mention once), two-time GPAC Attacker of the Year, two-time NAIA National Championship All-Tournament team honoree, three-time CSC Academic All-District recipient, three-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete and was the 2022 GPAC Freshman of the Year. On the program’s current all-time lists, Keck ranks fourth in kills (1,460) and ninth in digs (1,266). Keck is the program’s most productive attacker during the modern rally scoring era. Her 481 kills in 2025 are the most by a Concordia player in the GPAC era (2000-present). Her ’25 season also saw her tally 493 digs, 44 blocks and 28 aces in 115 sets (32 matches). Keck is one of five players in Concordia Volleyball history to eclipse both 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs for a career. Keck is a Business Administration major (minor in Marketing).
Over Keck’s four seasons, the Bulldogs went a combined 105-18 with four appearances at the final site of the national tournament and four trips to the GPAC Championship Match.
