SEWARD, Neb. – As major factors in Concordia University, Nebraska Volleyball’s run to the NAIA national semifinals, standouts Ava Greene, Ashley Keck and Ella Waters earned high distinction as 2025 NAIA All-Americans. As announced on Tuesday (Dec. 16), Keck was tabbed a First Team All-American while Waters was chosen as a Second Team All-American and Greene was named honorable mention by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. One of the top players in program history, Keck is the first Bulldog Volleyball player to ever collect two First Team All-America awards.

Head Coach Ben Boldt’s program has placed at least one player on the NAIA All-America honor roll for the seventh straight year. The All-Americans during that time, in addition to Greene, Keck and Waters, have included Bree Burtwistle (2022, 2023), Tara Callahan (2019, 2020), Gabi Nordaker (2022, 2023, 2024), Emmie Noyd (2019) and Camryn Opfer (2021, 2022, 2023).

A Kearney, Neb., native, Keck has stockpiled accolades over four years at Concordia. In addition to two NAIA First Team All-America awards, Keck is a four-time GPAC All-Conference award winner (first team twice, second team once and honorable mention once), two-time GPAC Attacker of the Year, two-time NAIA National Championship All-Tournament team honoree, three-time CSC Academic All-District recipient, three-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete and was the 2022 GPAC Freshman of the Year. On the program’s current all-time lists, Keck ranks fourth in kills (1,460) and ninth in digs (1,266). Keck is the program’s most productive attacker during the modern rally scoring era. Her 481 kills in 2025 are the most by a Concordia player in the GPAC era (2000-present). Her ’25 season also saw her tally 493 digs, 44 blocks and 28 aces in 115 sets (32 matches). Keck is one of five players in Concordia Volleyball history to eclipse both 1,000 kills and 1,000 digs for a career. Keck is a Business Administration major (minor in Marketing).

A Hickman, Neb., native, Waters elevated herself to All-America status in her second year with the Bulldogs. Waters garnered First Team All-GPAC accolades in 2024 and 2025 while teaming up with Keck for a potent attacking duo on the pins. Waters was also named an NAIA All-Region honoree, along with Keck, by the American Volleyball Coaches Association. This past 2025 season, Waters posted 290 kills, 94 blocks and 81 digs while hitting .241 from the right side. She was also honored as an NAIA National Championship All-Tournament Team selection. Over two seasons at Concordia, Waters has racked up 583 kills, 157 blocks and 145 digs in 223 sets played (62 matches). Waters is an Elementary Education major (minor in Special Education).

Greene, who hails from Papillion, Neb., pulled in First Team All-GPAC accolades in her junior season. Greene is an All-American for the first time. In 2025, Greene led the team in blocks with 124 (1.22 per set) while adding 155 kills (1.38 per set) on the strength of .293 hitting from her middle blocker position. In three collegiate seasons, Greene has amassed 266 kills and 210 blocks in 196 sets (59 matches). Greene is an Exercise Science major.

The 2025 Bulldogs finished at 28-4 overall while reaching the national semifinals. Concordia placed as the GPAC regular season and tournament runner up.
