Concordia University middle blocker Chelsea Vaudt has been named to the Bellevue University Labor Day Classic All-Tournament Team. The senior led the way as the Bulldogs went 3-1 over the weekend.
Vaudt pounded eight kills and added five aces as Concordia cruised past Haskell Indian Nation in the first game of the tournament. She added seven kills, one solo block and three assisted blocks in Concordia’s loss to Baker University. Vaudt had nine kills, four aces, one solo block and an assisted block in a 3-1 Concordia win over York College. In the final match of the tournament, she had nine kills, six digs and three assisted blocks in Concordia’s come-from-behind 3-2 win over Tabor College.
So far this season, Vaudt has a team-best 117 kills. She also leads the team with 33 total blocks. The Bulldogs are 7-4 overall and 0-1 in GPAC play so far this season. Concordia takes part in the Hastings College Tournament this weekend.
