Bulldogs pegged second in 2026 GPAC preseason volleyball poll

SEWARD, Neb. – The Concordia University, Nebraska Volleyball program will ring in another season of high expectations. In the 2026 GPAC Volleyball Preseason Coaches’ Poll released on Monday (Aug. 10), the Bulldogs were placed at No. 2 behind fellow perennial conference power Northwestern. The Bulldogs earned 109 points and collected two first-place votes in the poll. The other 10 first-place nods went to the Red Raiders.

Head Coach Ben Boldt and Associate Head Coach Angie Boldt enter season No. 9 leading Concordia Volleyball. The program is fresh off its first ever appearance in the NAIA national semifinals. The Boldts have led the Bulldogs to seven consecutive trips to the national tournament. Concordia has finished with NAIA top 10 rankings in six-straight years. The returning All-GPAC honorees include Ava Greene (first team), Emma Brueggemann (second team; freshman of the year) and Shandy Faalii (honorable mention).

The Bulldogs will kick off the 2026 season by hosting York University on Tuesday, Aug. 18. Before wrapping up the month of August, Concordia will also play at the Siouxland Invite (Aug. 21-22) before staging the Power Quad (Aug. 28-29) inside Friedrich Arena.
