Bulldogs open conference play with White Out Night on Tuesday

The Concordia University volleyball team opens GPAC play Tuesday evening against Morningside College.  The JV match is scheduled for 6 pm with the varsity match to follow at 7:30.  It will be “White Out Night” at the Health, Human Performance and Athletic Center. 

Concordia is 7-3 on the season following a 3-1 performance in the Bellevue University Labor Day Classic Tournament this past weekend.  The Bulldogs picked up a 3-0 win over Haskell Indian Nation to open the tournament.  Following a 3-0 loss to Baker University, the Bulldogs picked up wins over York College (3-1) and Tabor College (3-2) to conclude tournament play. 

Morningside enters conference play with a 5-5 record.  The Mustangs entered the season ranked No. 18 in the NAIA and were picked to finish second in the GPAC.  Morningside went 2-2 in the Bellevue Tournament but lost its final two games to Bellevue University (3-0) and Olivet Nazarene (3-2).
