Bulldog volleyball set for busy and important few weeks

It will be a busy and important few weeks for the Concordia University volleyball team.  The Bulldogs host three matches this week during Homecoming week and follow that up with a Dig Pink match at home on October 6.

Tuesday night will be “Camouflage Night” at the Health, Human Performance and Athletic Center as the Bulldogs host Doane College.  The JV contest is scheduled for 6 pm with the varsity match to follow at 7:30.  Concordia then hosts York College on Wednesday evening.

Perennial GPAC power Northwestern College comes to Seward this Saturday on Homecoming at Concordia University.  It will be "Bulldog Pride" day, and fans are encouraged to wear blue and white to support the Bulldogs.  The JV match is scheduled for 3 with varsity to follow at approximately 4:30.

On October 6, Concordia University will host a Dig Pink Match for breast cancer awareness.  The Bulldogs take on Nebraska Wesleyan at 6 and 7:30.  Concordia team members and coaches are selling pink t-shirts until October 3.  Prices are $5 and $6 for 2XL and 3XL.  Everyone is encouraged to support the cause and wear pink to the October 6 match.  All proceeds go directly to the Side-Out Foundation, and donations are welcome.  Fans can also check out the Bulldog Dig Pink Team Page at the following link; http://www.side-out.org/application/teams/team_page/1767
