
SEWARD, Neb. – Concordia University, Nebraska Volleyball continues to boast the nation’s longest streak of consecutive Team Academic Awards, as presented by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA). The 2024-25 Bulldogs earned Team Academic Award distinction, marking the 27th straight season the program has been honored by the AVCA for its academic success. Among all collegiate volleyball programs, only NCAA Division I Indiana State University has been able to equal Concordia’s string of AVCA awards.
Head Coach Ben Boldt’s squad will enter the 2025 campaign fresh off another appearance at the NAIA National Championship Quarterfinals. The Bulldogs finished 2024-25 strong by posting a spring semester team grade-point average of 3.73. Academic All-District honors (College Sports Communicators) went to Rebecca Gebhardt, Ashley Keck, Cassidy Knust and Savannah Shelburne. The ’24-25 team also totaled 15 NAIA Scholar-Athlete awards.
Returning First Team All-American Ashley Keck and company will begin official preseason training on Aug. 5. The ’25 season is slated to get underway on Aug. 16 when Concordia will welcome York University to Friedrich Arena. The entire schedule can be found HERE.
