Beth Broderick signs with Concordia volleyball program

Concordia University volleyball coach Rachel Miller has announced another signing to next year’s recruiting class.  Beth Broderick of Cross County High School will join the Bulldog volleyball program next year.

Broderick played all four years and lettered for three years in volleyball for the Cougars.  Beth was team captain during her senior year and was a Southern Nebraska Conference and All-Nebraska honorable mention selection.  She was also a York News Times All-Area selection this past season.  During her junior and senior seasons, Broderick also spent time on the South Central Club Team.

Beth also competed in track for three years and basketball for two years at Cross County.  She has made the Honor Roll all four years and is also in the National Honor Society.  She is the Student Council President and the Senior Class Secretary.

Broderick plans to major in Marketing at Concordia.  She is the daughter of Sean and Tami Broderick.

“I’m excited to have Beth join the Concordia volleyball program,” remarked Coach Miller.  “I have a long history with Cross County head coach Jo Burnham, as I coached her youngest daughter in club when I was a player at Concordia.  It’s great to now have one of her players join our team.  Beth was an instant fit with the team, and I think she will really excel at Concordia University.  Her height will be a great asset to our front line, and I look forward to getting Beth on the court with the Bulldogs!”
