SEWARD, Neb. – Between the 2026 NAIA Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, Concordia University, Nebraska Track & Field combined for nine All-America performances with seven different athletes contributing to those efforts. In her final collegiate season, Adrianna Rodencal won national titles in two events while claiming four total All-America awards. First-time All-Americans in 2026 included Emry Gutz, Tayden Kirchner and Adysen McCarter.
Rodencal stole the spotlight this spring semester as she captured NAIA national titles in the 60-meter hurdles (indoor) and 100-meter hurdles (outdoor). She also teamed up with a 4x400-meter relay that broke the school record at the GPAC Championships and then placed sixth at the NAIA Outdoor Championships. The All-America 4x4 also featured Adysen McCarter, Tayden Kirchner and Kayla Kirchner. McCarter also broke through with an All-America award in the triple jump. She is the school’s indoor and outdoor women’s triple jump record holder.
On the men’s side, Jonny The Jet Jurchen enjoyed a stellar sophomore campaign as he emerged with All-America awards in both the indoor and outdoor race walk. He placed sixth at the indoor and outdoor championships. The Seward product is the GPAC meet record holder for indoor and outdoor. In the throws, Nathan Baldwin picked up his second career All-America award when he placed third in the weight throw at the indoor national championships. Baldwin placed ninth in the hammer and discus at outdoor nationals, just missing additional All-America medals. Lastly, the two-time GPAC javelin champion Gutz placed fifth in the javelin at the national meet in Asheville, N.C.
