2025-26 Concordia Track & Field Schedule

SEWARD, Neb. – After putting behind the 2024-25 season in Marion, Ind., Concordia University, Nebraska Track & Field looks ahead to the upcoming indoor campaign. For the seventh-straight year, the Bulldogs will ring in the indoor season by hosting the Bulldog Early Bird Meet. The occasion will signal the beginning of a 2025-26 indoor season slated to include eight regular season meets with half of them taking place inside the friendly confines of the Walz Fieldhouse.

Head Coach Matt Beisel is preparing for his ninth year leading the cross country and track & field programs. In 2025, the women’s track program came away with GPAC placements of third for indoor and second for outdoor while placing in the top 20 at both NAIA national meets (20th indoor and ninth outdoor). Meanwhile, the men placed fourth in the GPAC at the 2025 indoor and outdoor conference meets. Nine Bulldogs emerged with All-America awards for indoor and/or outdoor, including national runners up in Abby Gerber, Adrianna Rodencal and Abi Wohlgemuth.

The indoor slate has varied only slightly over the past several years. Following the season opening Bulldog Classic (Dec. 12-13), Concordia will also host the Concordia Polar Dog Invite (Jan. 23), Concordia Classic (Jan. 30-31) and Concordia Indoor Invite (Feb. 14). On the list of away meets is the Graduate Classic (Jan. 16-17) hosted by the University of Nebraska, the Scott Nisely Classic (Jan. 17) hosted by Doane, the Frank Sevigne Husker Invite (Feb. 6-7) and the Fred Beile Invite (Feb. 7) hosted by Doane.

The 2026 GPAC Indoor Track & Field Championships (Feb. 20-21) will be held in Sioux Center, Iowa, home to Dordt. The Defenders most recently hosted the indoor conference meet in 2021. The ’25-26 indoor season will reach a conclusion with the 2026 NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships on March 5-7. For a second-consecutive year, Gainesville, Fla., will serve as the host.

NOTE: The 2026 outdoor schedule is yet to be announced. The site of the 2026 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships is also to be announced as of the summer of 2025.
