2022-23 Concordia Indoor Track & Field Schedule

SEWARD, Neb. – The 2022-23 indoor slate is set for Head Coach Matt Beisel’s Concordia University Track & Field programs. The schedule will feature the exact same eight regular season indoor meets the Bulldogs competed in during the 2021-22 campaign. For the fourth year in a row, the season will get started with the Bulldog Early Bird Meet.

Last indoor season, Concordia turned in GPAC place finishes of first on the women’s side and fourth on the men’s side. The women’s program will enter 2023 having won seven-straight GPAC championship meets.

As a highlight of the indoor slate, the Bulldogs will have the honor of hosting the 2023 GPAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The indoor conference meet returns to Seward for the first time since 2019. The ’19 GPAC indoor meet began the Concordia women’s program’s string of league titles while the men placed second in the GPAC. Counting the GPAC Championships, Concordia will host five meets this indoor season, including the Bulldog Early Bird (Dec. 9-10), the Concordia Polar Dog Invite (Jan. 21), Concordia Classic (Feb. 3) and the Concordia Indoor Invite (Feb. 10).

Concordia won’t have to go far for its away meets: the University of Nebraska Graduate Classic (Jan. 13-14), Scott Nisely Memorial Classic hosted by Doane (Jan. 14), Fred Beile Classic hosted by Doane (Jan. 28) and the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational (Feb. 3-4).

For the third time in four years, the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships will take place in Brookings, S.D. The Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex will continue to serve as the host venue for indoor nationals at least through 2024.
