SEWARD, Neb. – For her repeated excellence throughout this season, Concordia University, Nebraska Track & Field senior Adrianna Rodencal has been named the 2026 NAIA Women’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Year by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association. The USTFCCCA announced its NAIA regional award winners on Thursday (Feb. 26). Rodencal was also lauded by the coaches’ association as the 2025 NAIA Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year.

Chief among Rodencal’s achievements this indoor season was her head-turning 60-meter hurdles time of 8.26 that came at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational. Only three women’s athletes in NAIA history have run faster times. Rodencal claimed her 11th career GPAC title and totaled 16.75 team points at the ’26 indoor conference meet. She enters the upcoming NAIA Indoor National Championships as the top seed in the 60 hurdles. Rodencal will also compete as part of the team’s 4x400-meter relay.
