Meet Info: 2026 Hastings Bronco Invite

SEWARD, Neb. – If all goes as planned, Concordia University, Nebraska Track & Field will finally have a Saturday meet this outdoor season. The Bulldogs are scheduled to compete at the Hastings Bronco Invite, which will be staged at Jack Osborne Track Complex. The meet is slated to get underway at 10 a.m. CT. The outdoor season to date for Head Coach Matt Beisel’s squads has included the Central Nebraska Challenge (March 29) and the Concordia Invite (April 6).

At Monday’s Concordia Invite, the Bulldogs increased their national qualifying field as freshman Jack Habegger (race walk) and sophomore Adysen McCarter (triple jump) posted automatic national qualifying standards. Meanwhile, sophomore Jonny Jurchen (race walk) and senior Adrianna Rodencal (100 hurdles) repeated NAIA A standard times on the track. Fresh NAIA B standards were produced by juniors Luke Hammang (race walk) and Addie Reimer (high jump). Concordia boasts three of the nation’s top 14 athletes on the current men’s 5,000-meter race walk performance list. Rodencal continues to lead the NAIA in the 100 hurdles. She was named Women’s NAIA National Track Athlete of the Week on April 1.

A – Jack Habegger: 5,000-meter race walk (23:05.70)
A – Jonny Jurchen: 5,000-meter race walk (22:28.39)
A – Adysen McCarter: triple jump (39’ 6 ½”)
A – Adrianna Rodencal: 100-meter hurdles (13.48); 400-meter hurdles (59.32)
B – Women’s 4x100-meter relay (46.99)
B – Nathan Baldwin: discus (164’ 4”); hammer throw (185’ 3”)
B – Emery Gutz: javelin (193’ 9”)
B – Luke Hammang: 5,000-meter race walk (24:21.34)
B – Addie Reimer: high jump (5’ 5 ¾”)

The Concordia Invite also yielded 13 event championships for Bulldog athletes. The individual winners were Vaughn Hendrickson (10,000 meters), Jurchen (race walk), Emma Kucera (javelin), McCarter (triple jump), Kiki Nyanok (long jump), Trey Robertson (3,000-meter steeplechase), Rodencal (100 and 400 hurdles), Kayla Svoboda (pole vault) and Ransom Watts (5,000 meters). Concordia also placed first in three relays: the men’s and women’s 4x1 and the women’s 4x4. Hendrickson was honored as Bulldog Athletics Association Member Men’s Athlete of the Week thanks to his time of 31:41.85 in the 10k (fifth fastest in program history).

Following the Hastings Invite, the month of April is also scheduled to include the James Dutcher Memorial (April 16-18) at Doane, the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite (April 23) and the Drake Relays (April 23-25). The complete schedule can be found HERE.
