RESULTS: Drake Relays | Prairie Wolf Invite
DES MOINES, Iowa – Standout Bulldog athletes represented Concordia University, Nebraska Track & Field over three days (April 23-25) of action at the prestigious Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa. A summary of their performances is included below.
Notably, superstar Adrianna Rodencal competed in five separate events throughout the weekend. She wound up placing in the top six of both the 100-meter and 400-meter hurdles. Rodencal also ran the second leg for a 4x400-meter relay that clocked a fresh NAIA B standard. On the final day of the meet, Emry Gutz took second place in the University/College Division of the javelin.

Women’s 4x400-meter relay: Adysen McCarter, Adrianna Rodencal, Tayden Kirchner and Kayla Kirchner.
--Placed 11th/30 (3:49.19) in the College Division.
Men’s 4x800-meter relay: Cooper Schelkopf, Trenton Kumm, Justin Sherman and Lucas Corwin.
--Placed 15th/15 (8:01.16) in the College Division.
Women’s 4x800-meter relay: Landri Loos, Ashley Robertson, Izzi Brumbaugh and Claire Beikmann.
--Placed 14th/16 (9:46.36) in the College Division.
Women’s 4x100-meter relay: Adysen McCarter, Kayla Kirchner, Kiki Nyanok and Adrianna Rodencal.
--DNF in the College Division.
Women’s sprint medley relay: Adysen McCarter (200m), Adrianna Rodencal (200m), Kayla Kirchner (400m) and Tayden Kirchner (800m).
--Placed 13th/14 (4:19.62) in the College Division.

--Placed 2nd/22 (193’ 4”) in the University/College Division javelin.

--Placed 14th/20 (37’ 1 ¼”) in the University/College Division triple jump.
Trey Robertson, junior
--Placed 16th/22 (9:38.45) in the Open 3,000-meter steeplechase.
Adrianna Rodencal, senior
--Placed 3rd/31 (13.24) in the prelims of the University/College Division 100-meter hurdles.
--Placed 5th/21 (59.09) in the University/College Division 400-meter hurdles.
--Placed 6th/8 (13.69) in the finals of the University/College Division 100-meter hurdles.
Makenna Starkey, freshman
--Placed 22nd/23 (5’ 3 ¼”) in University/College Division high jump.
