NAIA National Qualifiers: Men | Women
SEWARD, Neb. – The field of 2026 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships qualifiers is set. In conjunction with the NAIA’s release on Wednesday (May 13), the Concordia University, Nebraska Track & Field program has announced a nationals team of 19 individuals (including 10 men and nine women). The championship meet will run May 20-22 at Karl Strauss Track in Asheville, N.C., a new NAIA National Championship host. The facility is home to the University of North Carolina Asheville.
This spring, Head Coach Matt Beisel’s squads produced conference outdoor place finishes of third on the women’s side and fifth on the men’s side. In the latest NAIA national ratings calculated by the USTFCCCA, the Bulldogs appeared at No. 10 for women and at No. 25 for men.
Indoor national champion Adrianna Rodencal has set her sights on a big finish to her college career. The five-time All-American will compete in both hurdles events and as part of the 4x1 and 4x4 relays at the national championships. It will also be a hectic few days in Asheville for sophomore Adysen McCarter, the school record holder in the triple jump. McCarter will join Rodencal and Kirchner sisters Kayla and Tayden on the school standard bearing 4x4. In the throws, Harper Boche qualified for both the hammer and shot put. Concordia will also be represented at the national meet by Josi Noble in the 400 hurdles and Addie Reimer and Makenna Starkey in the high jump.
From a seeding standpoint, the Concordia men are led by two-time All-Americans in race walker Jonny Jurchen (seeded eighth) and thrower Nathan Baldwin (seeded eighth). The deep Bulldog race walk crew also includes junior Luke Hammang, a five-time national qualifier. In the throws group, Baldwin is backed by Josiah Edwards and Emry Gutz. Baldwin is a returning All-American in the discus. In addition, Hank Moore qualified in the decathlon and Lucas Corwin will take part in the 800 meters while also leading the 4x8 relay. Corwin is joined on the 4x8 by Trenton Kumm, Justin Sherman and Keith Siek.
