NAIA National Qualifiers: Men | Women
SEWARD, Neb. – The field of 2026 NAIA Indoor Track and Field National Championships qualifiers has been solidified. In conjunction with the NAIA’s release on Wednesday (Feb. 19), the Concordia University, Nebraska Track & Field program has announced a nationals team of 21 individuals (including 13 men and eight women). The championship meet will run March 5-7 at the Alachua County Sports & Events Center at Celebration Pointe in Gainesville, Fla., a location that will host the outdoor championship meet for the second straight year.
Head Coach Matt Beisel’s squads are coming off places finishes of third for both men and women at the 2026 GPAC Championships hosted by Dordt. Conference championships were won by the men’s 4x800-meter relay, Jonny Jurchen in the racewalk, Adysen McCarter in the triple jump and Adrianna Rodencal in the 60-meter hurdles.
The Concordia women’s program earned 2025 NAIA national place finishes of 20th for indoor and ninth for outdoor. The headliner of the group is Rodencal, who enters this year’s indoor national meet as the top seed in the 60-meter hurdles. The 11-time GPAC champion has earned four career All-America awards and was a fifth-place national finisher a year ago in the 60 hurdles. The women’s qualifiers also include Hannah Beintema in the racewalk, Harper Boche in the weight throw, McCarter in the triple jump and the 4x400-meter relay. Kayla Kirchner is a three-time All-American from past 4x4 relays.
Of the men’s qualifiers, Jurchen carries the highest seed at No. 3 in the 3,000-meter racewalk. Jurchen placed seventh and earned All-America honors at the 2025 NAIA indoor national meet. Jurchen will be joined at the NAIA Championships by fellow racewalk teammates Jack Habegger and Luke Hammang. One other men’s qualifier with a previous All-America award is thrower Nathan Baldwin (2025 discus All-American), who will compete in Gainesville in the weight throw and shot put. The Bulldogs will also be represented in the pole vault, 60 hurdles and 4x800-meter relay.
The list of Bulldogs making their first-ever national championship appearance includes Hannah Beintema, Lucas Corwin, Josiah Edwards, Jack Habegger, Evan Hill, Jax Jacobson, Tayden Kirchner, Hayden Kluthe, Trenton Kumm, Keith Siek and Makenna Starkey. A qualifier in the racewalk, Beintema has previous experience on the national stage in cross country (2022 and 2023).
